Genesis Estate
Listing policy
What we check before a property goes live, and what gets a listing removed.
Policy version 2026-10-11. Operator: Genesis Events and Media Group
Every listing must
- Be a real property that is available now, listed by its owner, an authorised broker or the builder.
- Show the actual asking price or rent. No ₹1 prices, “call for price” tricks or prices for a different unit.
- Give the carpet area honestly. If you quote built-up or super built-up area, say so in the description.
- Use photos of this property, taken by you or for you. No stock photos, watermarks of other portals, or photos of a different flat.
- Be in the right locality. Don't place a property in a more popular area to get more views.
- Show the MahaRERA registration number for projects that must be registered.
Not allowed
- Duplicate listings of the same property, or one listing for several units.
- Phone numbers, email addresses, links or social handles in the title, description or photos. Enquiries come through Genesis Estate so both sides are protected.
- Tenant preferences based on religion, caste, community, diet or similar grounds. You may state family, bachelors, company lease or anyone.
- Requests for advance payment before a visit.
How review works
A moderator checks each listing against this policy, usually within one working day. If something is missing we send it back with a note saying exactly what to fix. Listings edited after going live stay public and get a second look. We remove listings that turn out to be sold, rented or misleading, and repeated breaches close the account.
The verified mark
To get the verified mark, share proof of ownership or authority (for example an index II, share certificate, latest maintenance bill or a signed authority letter for brokers) when our team asks. We check it, mark the listing, and don't publish the documents.
